Mortals and immortals intertwine on the man-made planet Lexium 9, and in the heavens as they battle to overthrow their creator THE ARCHITECT.Johnnason was being hunted, and he knew it. Not only were those on Lexium 9 looking to break him, the Deities beyond knew that he was the key to the rebirth of Planet Earth.Lexium 9 was a man-made planet, but no longer the prize of the planners on Planet Earth. Its original design as an escape from an overcrowded and damaged world, was replaced by its more practical use. It was now home to the most deprived of all criminals, religious followers. The Earth itself had long rejected the need for religions, the cause of so much chaos. The planet had removed all types of such cults and traditions, and what remained was a single nation, one society. Those who opposed The State stood alone.Johnnason was one such individual. A man with secrets, one who would not break the laws, but a man who had a reason to understand who had most to gain by the universal following of scientists as the new God.In the beginning The Architect rejected the creation of Good and Evil. The Earth is our creation and we will do with it as we see fit Time protested once more. And you are all my creation The Architect replied clinically. And you will come to heel. Time, one of the four Deities who had forged The Earth, turned to the others for reinforcement but it was not forthcoming. The Architect had concluded the description of what was to form the future. The gathering of The Great Council was almost over. The Architect instructed with control and command-You are to form a closer guild. This council will conclude with the creation of four Guardians who will protect Planet Earth in my absence. They will maintain a True Balance between you four Deities and mortals on Earth.Serenity was quick to respond. Why do you look to limit our powers, when we have formed for you perfection? We live harmoniously in our current form and maintain true balance as a commitment and offering to you. The Architect offered nothing in response. Are you unhappy with us? Dissatisfied with what have produced? asked Nature calmly. It is your collective success and beauty which has driven me to act came the reply. The remaining Deity, Wrath, watched the proceedings unfold from a distance and said nothing. Wrath would wait for the moment to strike and inflict untold damage at foundation of this union. The occasion to do so would come. And what of these Guardians? cried Time. To whom do they answer? They will answer to no-one The Architect replied. And they will exist with power, needs and desires which I have already extracted from each of you to form them. They will save your planet from yourselves. The Council concluded in mistrust and even hatred but The Architect had achieved everything that had been required. However in a moment of weakness the four Deities were deceived. In secret The Architect produced a fifth and final Guardian, a son Celparasus, to command the elements on earth itself. The child was hidden in the Earths core. The Architect was pleased with this arrangement and believed that The Guardians would act if True Balance was ever threatened. With this The Architect slept.
